Chat support that closes the chat while you're looking something up
I stepped away for two minutes to find an order number and the chat ended "due to inactivity." Back to the start of the queue. How do people handle this?

Losing your place in the queue over a two-minute search is frustrating, especially when you were doing exactly what they asked.
- Worth trying Before you start a chat, gather what support usually asks for: order number, email on the account, dates and any confirmation messages. Keep them open in another tab or copied into a note.
